Well, it's about time I reviewed this game. It's called Fortune Street and it's available at your local GameStop for fifty bucks. Though I didn’t pay that much for a new copy. No, I went on Amazon and got it for 13 bucks during a sale.
So the wife and I were watching YouTube videos when we decided to pick this game up.
It’s Monopoly with a few twists.
Twist 1: The board isn’t shaped in a square.
Twist 2: The game isn’t over just over when a person bankrupts, but when the goal of earning a certain amount is made.
Twist 3: In Standard mode, you can also buy and sell stocks, this can help you reach your goal faster.
Twist 4: In Easy mode the shops aren’t zoned by color, but you get a boost if you buy two or more next to each other.
Twist 5: In Standard mode, you get a boost on properties if you can buy two or more shops in each district.
Twist 6: There’s also a bingo board in the game. This replaces the chance and community chest cards. The board spots are good or bad depending on their number.
Twist 7: You can either play as a MII or a Mario character, or a character from blue dragon.
It’s a great game. I give it a high rating due to the fact that’s it gives a classic game a great number of twists.
