Who is Que? That is the question on everybody's mind right now. Que is the rapper that took a character from an old school urban film and made it a popular hook. From the streets of Atlanta to the iPod of Tia Mowry of The Game and Sister, Sister, the whole world was singing O.G. Bobby Johnson. The Atlanta native by way of Kansas City released this single in September of 2013. Six months later and O.G. Bobby Johnson is still pulsating through the radio airwaves and rattling trunks! With the release of his new EP and upcoming mixtape both titled Who Is Que, the 22 year-old rapper has also landed a deal with Atlantic Records.
Que paid his dues and actually helped Atlanta-based group the Migos get their debut when he featured them on his mixtape, Forbes Atlanta. It got the attention of Drake and skyrocketed the careers of the Migos. Now it's his time in the limelight. His EP, Who Is Que, was released on iTunes last Tuesday, March 25th. It has 6 bangers from the Atlanta rapper and appearances from heavy hitters like Snoop Dog, Pusha T, and A$AP Ferg. The best song on the EP is definitely Too Much featuring Lizzle and Trey Songz! We predict that this single should be hitting mainstream radio real soon!
Currently, Que is working on projects with producers 808 Mafia, Sonny Digital, and Metro Boomin. He plans to release his mixtape also titled Who Is Que this April. He also has writing credits for Ludacris’ upcoming album Ludaversal on a single titled Nine Times Outta Ten produced by Metro Boomin, collaborations with French Montana, Juicy J, Ali of Travis Porter and MMG’s Tracy T.
