I was lucky to be given the chance the try out a White Sands hair care product thanks to Jessica at their amazing PR team. White Sands brand has been around for 10 years but has recently begun growing in popularity. Their professional hair care products are all top of the line and at a price you can afford. The White Sands company story reads as the following on their website:
"With humble beginnings, White Sands is a family owned corporation created nearly 10 years ago by the Salas Family with only $1,500.00 in hand. Our family of five, Fernando, Patricia, Aarron, Noel and his wife Kelly began this adventure by filling products from gallons to 8.5oz bottles one at a time in Fernando’s garage.
In 1999, White Sands participated in the Premiere Beauty Show in Orlando Florida with just a 10 x 10 booth. As Fernando spent his day on stage styling hair, his wife and business partner Patricia sold the unique spray product he was using. By noon of the first day, 200 kits were sold – and the product didn’t even have a name. After this amazing first day, the Salas Family knew the days of working for others were over: the end of the trip christened the soon-to-be developed line White Sands.
In 2006, White Sands added yet another family member Don Stone (Brother-in-Law/Uncle) to grow distribution chains both nationally and internationally. Since this addition, White Sands has grown tremendously with 28 distributors nationwide.
The White Sands family is truly living the American dream and a true testament that with hard work and perseverance you can accomplish anything you put your mind to."
It is always very exciting to see companies start out from nothing and turn into these major successes. White Sands is now being featured in magazines, used on film sets in Hollywood, and has been used to keep celebrities hair looking picture perfect on the Dancing With The Stars Tour.
The product I was able to try out is called 'The Cure 24/7', what this product is, is a leave in reconstructive treatment that is perfect for dry and damaged hair. I have shared my hair horror stories on here before, on how I thought changing my hair color every month was a good idea for a good solid year, including around 6 bleachings. Basically, my hair is now fried and extremely damaged. I have given my hair a break for awhile now and have been trying to use any product that can save my hair from getting worse, and that can make it look healthy. Thats where The Cure 24/7 comes into play. I add about a quarter sized amount to my damp hair, and then style it as usual. The Cure 24/7 has made my hair not only look healthier but it has SAVED my hair from breaking off at the ends, especially when I make the terrible decision to heat style it. This product actually mends your split ends. My hair is now both longer and stronger. Now for all you pricey hair care lovers out there, This stuff is a great dupe for Kerastase Fibre Architecte which costs $42.00, and is in TINY container. I cringe at the thought of how much I paid for that stuff. The Cure 24/7 not only works better, but it costs less, and contains more product. The Cure 24/7 retails for only $29.99 and contains about 10 times more product than the Kerastase Fibre Architecte.
I love The Cure 24/7 and will be repurchasing it as soon as I run out. I also plan to try out some other of their products and can't wait to purchase them! My hair finally looks healthy again!
