It was our pleasure to dine at the White River Fish House located in lovely Branson, Missouri. This is a Bass Pro Shop restaurant. The restaurant is located in the heart of the exciting and bustling Branson Landing. It is only a short driving distance from Springfield. We could not help but enjoy the beautiful rustic interior and exterior of the restaurant, which is adorned with exquisite fishing and outdoor memorabilia. The restaurant sets out over beautiful Lake Taneycomo, which is a lake that is world renowned for its outstanding trout fishing. Patrons have a magnificent panoramic view of the lake from any seat in the house. Patrons can relax and enjoy their beverages and meals in an exquisite environment. The restaurant sets on a floating barge having a pier where boaters can park their craft while they enjoy their meals and drinks.
Our server was Angelina (pictured in this article). As any outstanding restaurant professional, Angelina impressed upon us that we were in for an excellent dining experience. She helpfully assisted us with any questions which we had regarding our menu. As a compliment of the house, Angelina provided us with delicious, hot and fresh cornbread having a scintillating hint of spice. This is a thoughtful gesture of the management and the staff and shows their commitment to making the patrons’ dining experience one to be remembered. We are quite fortunate to have had Angelina serve us several times in our many visits to this outstanding eatery. We have come to realize that Angelina has extensive knowledge and experience in food and restaurant services as well as customer relations. She handles her responsibilities with great credit to the restaurant.
The meal of our choice this day was the smoked BBQ pork sandwich with fresh cole slaw and piping hot fries. We heartily recommend this selection to our readers. For dessert, we feasted on a moist and delicious brownie with ice cream. This was an outstanding and delicious dish as well. The food was plentiful, fresh and perfectly prepared. We could not be more pleased.
The establishment boasts an extensive array of fine dishes which are sure to satisfy even the most discriminating patron. They serve an assortment of delicious appetizers including alligator tail, venison stuffed mushrooms and New England clam chowder. They offer a variety of fresh, crisp salads. The entrees include slow roasted chicken, BBQ ribs, steaks, trout, shrimp and scallops to mention only a few. Additionally, hearty sandwiches are available. A menu of delightful desserts is available that will be pleasing to the sweet tooth of everyone.
