SOLD OUT! That’s right. Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida shattered all previous attendance records and sold out. Music fans from all over the world converged at Welcome to Rockville to see the biggest names in the music world take the stage. That included Rob Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold, Memphis May Fire, Butcher Babies, Volbeat, Trivium, The Pretty Reckless, Emmure, Korn, Motionless in White, Black Label Society and many more. Monster Energy Music knows how to put on a show. They had a line-up so epic that the fans overcame Florida’s hotter than Hades days to not only come to the show but sell it out!

To give you an idea of the lay of the land, there were 2 main stages and 2 side stages: The Monster Energy Stage West & Monster Energy Stage East (main stages), the Jagermeister Stage and Ernie Ball Stage, 4 VIP areas, food tents, beer and liquor (some festivals only have beer so this is an important note for those who wanted to partake in the big people fun), medical and first-aid on hand and ready and lockers so you didn’t have to carry stuff all day like a pack mule. It was a well layed out and set up event.

I chatted with Rock-n-Roll GangStar who was a vendor at this show last year and again this year. Daryl Boyd told me, “This is by far a better year over all. There is more people traffic, we are in a better location, and the fans are amazing. They remembered us and came back to see us.” If you are not familiar with Rock-n-Roll GangStar they are a clothing company that specializes in Rock 'n Roll threads. You have probably seen their clothes on stage because the bands are fans and love to represent the brand.

New this year and on the road with Rock-n-Roll GangStar is ROCKwell UnScene MUSIC Magazine. You can score the newest and best in print magazine to hit the music world from them. Here is what one camera man had to say about the festival, “The bands have been so nice off stage and behind the scenes. They have really worked to make all the interviews. Not only that, the other photographers have been so nice. There has been a lot of networking. The crew of Welcome to Rockville (the security) has been amazing and very helpful.”

As you can see the fans, the vendors and the bands all had a killer start to the kick-off of the Worlds Loudest Month at Welcome to Rockville. Stay tuned because there is MUCH more to come!

If you missed this stop on the Worlds Loudest Month tour you can hit the next event, Carolina Rebellion in Charlotte, NC on May 3rd and 4th. Thanks to Monster Energy for such an epic music tour! See you on the road!
