We The Kings performed at the House of Blues Orlando in Downtown Disney on August 30, 2013. The fan base is quite large in the Orlando area for this group of very talented musicians for as they are a local band out of Bradenton, FL. This performance was just one more away from ending their two month journey of the Summer Fest Tour.
The fans definitely got what they wanted as the group performed a vast majority of their most popular tunes. Artist and crowd interaction was perfectly done and it is something that more artists need to do with their fans because it creates a tighter and more memorable connection between them both.
A dream came true for one fan that night. Travis Clark (lead vocals/guitar) pulled one lucky lady out of the crowd and serenaded her while singing “Friday Is Forever.” The glimmer from her eyes could be seen from afar while jealous fans in the crowd were in awe. A platonic smooch to the cheek ended the song and the fans all erupted in ear-piercing screaming.
We The Kings ended the night with a cover of Billionaire (Bruno Mars), Say You Like Me, and Check Yes Juliet.
