To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Batman comics, Warner Bros. has revamped their long running VIP Studio Tour. For long time fans of the caped crusader, the changes are delightful. A once-in-a-lifetime peek into the work behind the nearly 30-year-old film franchise.

The centerpiece of the experience happens halfway through the tour. Attendees leave their tram (a few of which feature Batman logos to mark the occasion) and enter the two-story museum on the Warner Bros. backlot. On entry, fans will note the display containing cowls from every Batman movie--Michael Keaton's era to Christian Bale's era. Just behind the display, is an impressively constructed plastic case displaying the most recent full costume, Christian Bale's costume from The Dark Knight Rises, complete with props.

Attendees touring the space will see props and costumes from each Batman movie. Each era has its own centerpiece prop. Christopher Nolan's gritty era features a life-size model of the bomb Bane uses to threaten Gotham compelte with an active count down clock. There are no reproductions on the tour. Every costume, each prop is the item used in production, some of them even show signs of wear.

Completing the Batman experience, is the redone transportation museum, which is now a miniature Batcave showcasing each Batmobile. Small plaques throughout both exhibits give attendees insight into the origin of each prop. This memory jog is helpful for those who haven't indulged in a marathon recently.

The Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour has always been a can't miss attraction for movie buff tourists. The new Batman exhibits make it a can't miss attraction for Angeleno geeks as well. The Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour runs from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day with extended hours during the summer. Tickets are $54 per person and are available at http://vipstudiotour.warnerbros.com/. The Batman exhibit will run at least through the end of the summer.
