Tennis seems to be a sport that many older people can enjoy. 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's holds a great future for tennis players. Asking fifty tennis players who play regularly and are older than 55 years of age I found out a few things.
- Exercise is something they always do. It's a intricate part of their lives
- Stretching, yoga and meditation (through prayer, TM, or another form) is done daily.
- Eating fresh fruit, even if it's a daily apple is on their menu.
- Getting plenty of fiber through fresh vegetable, fruits, flax seed, and healthy oils.
- And almost 90% of the people I interviewed make their own smoothies.

I've seen it demonstrated for a few years. My good friend uses one and makes me green smoothies when I visit. But, making the purchase that was another thing. Then my husband got sick. I was determined to help him get well from the inside out.
I would recommend the Vitamix to anyone. The use is absolutely easy. The three different buttons, smoothies, frozen deserts, soup, plus the different levels speeds are a cinch. Cleaning it is as easy as rinsing with soapy water - that's it. No matter what I've put into the Vitamix it's done it's job.
I'm very passionate about heart health. By learning how to be heart healthy I've discovered that every single other area of my being matters. Stress, toxic relationships, worry, sadness, and what I put into my mouth. Vitamix has become one part of my quest to live a healthy lifestyle. Exercise, rest and relaxation are on my list also. Enjoying my family and realizing that if they need me nothing else is important.
I am a two-time survivor of a life-threatening disease and a woman who has lived through bankruptcy, not only financially but physically, psychologically and spiritually. Now I'm a successful, positive, driven woman.
Being a physically fit woman at 47 years of age, my life was changed in a heart beat. My personal journey of being diagnosed with heart disease and learning to live with it has inspired me to help others who are also concerned about their health. No matter where you are in your journey, let's work together to live the best life possible.
I'm excited to get to know you here on Lifelong Health. I look forward to getting to know you and learning together.
