Just south of Worthington on Rt 23 there is a great Italian restaurant, Villa Nova, that has one of the best happy hours in Central Ohio.
They have happy hour from 4-7 Monday through Friday, and on Monday's happy hour extends to 9 PM. The happy hour specials include domestic bottles and draft mugs for $1.50, draft liters for $3.50, and well drinks for $2.75. To soak it all up they provide free wings, pizza, subs and fresh popcorn.
There is a decent selection of bottled beer, both import and domestic, and there are 6 draft beer choices. They are one of few bars in town that serve Hosters Gold Top on tap! There is a full bar with all of the standard liquor offerings and more than a dozen wine choices.
The Colleli family has been running Villa Nova since they opened it in 1978. The bar is well separated from the dining area and the decor includes sports memorabilia and photos, many of them Ohio State related. One wall of the bar is filled with gauges from a wide variety of industrial equipment...you don't see that very many places and it is interesting to check out.
The bar has seating on all 4 sides, but get there early because it is usually packed for happy hour. This is no surprise given the great happy hour offering that they have.
