2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

Toyota built the 2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro to be the most off-road capable Toyota Tundra ever built. Sporting larger springs, Bilstein shocks, skid-plates, unique body upgrades, more aggressive tires and unique wheels, the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro certainly looks the part. Toyota was wise to make this version of their largest truck as the Tundra (despite a recent refresh) has fallen well behind most of its competitors regarding innovation.

My brief wheel time in the 2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro left me with the impression that it felt like a slightly smaller Ram Power Wagon. That's a compliment. The interior upgrades help register the feeling of customization and the TRD exhaust package makes the 5.7-liter V8 sound beefy.

In this video, Roman Mica (TFLCar/TFLTruck) is flown to Las Vegas, NV to test the new line of Toyota TRD Pro vehicles.

Here's Toyota's PR on the 2015 Tundra TRD Pro:

"Work. Play. Explore. Whatever your plans, the 2015 Tundra TRD Pro is the full-size pickup to get you where you want go and doing the things you love. Equipped with high-performance TRD Bilstein® shocks with remote reservoirs, TRD-tuned front springs, a reinforced TRD skid plate and a TRD dual exhaust, this truck is ready to be put to the test. So load up your bikes, hook up that trailer 8,9 and know that the Tundra TRD Pro can handle just about whatever you throw at it. Who knows, it just might become your favorite toy." - - Toyota
