WOW is mostly soft shoegaze psychedelic pop that strays very little from the 21st century bedroom soft baroque white noise and buried lead vocals. The stand-outs are the slightly eccentric “A capello” and the miniature instrumental “12,5 mg”. The rest is good, but lost in the ecstasy of the early 90s and the overcooked 2000s. Another decent calm Italian psych album released in 2011 is Elephants at the Door by Dumbo Gets Mad.
