This documentary will literally make you cry for not only the land that has been severely damaged in the BP, (British Petroleum), Deepwater Horizon oil spill. It will make you want to scream, stomp your feet and demand that our government do something to help these noble families who have been fishermen, shrimpers and oystermen all their lives. Their fathers and grandfathers were most likely men of the sea also.

Nailah Jefferson, see bio below, wrote, produced and directed this documentary and did a damn good job.

There is so much that went on that it’s difficult for someone like me who just watches a 90-minutes doc on this subject to reveal everything that has to come to light. So, I will give you links to read for yourself.

BP, is a slimy company. Along with our own government they ruined the lives of some good people. People who are the back bone of the United States. Shame on BP and shame on the government who basically said, it’s all better now, on to the next screw up.

Below is some useful information about this very complicated subject.

I hope the above information tells just a bit about what is and has been going on. The best thing to do is watch this film. It premiered at Slamdance this year. The film is being shown at film festivals and will have a release later this year. As soon as details are available I will update this article so everyone can see this film.

I give this film 5/5 because it is so well made and the subject matter is covered well from both sides.
