Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation

Pros: Not to sound cheesy, but I dig the name. Who wouldn't want to wear "Naked Skin", a weightless cover-up that feels like you're not wearing anything? It's oil free and paraben free. It contains green tea, one of my favorite antioxidants, and anti-wrinkle peptides. Whenever you talk about a makeup product that doubles as a skin care product, you're talking my language! The finish is dry and comparable to an air-brushed finish. With its light-diffusing technology, it evens out skin imperfections- making you camera ready.

Cons: It's a little pricey- retailing at $40 and does not contain sunscreen. However, Urban Decay's "Beauty Balm" with SPF 20 pairs nicely underneath as a primer, providing added protection and extending the wear of the foundation. FYI, I tried wearing Naked Skin alone and it disappeared by the end of the day. The luminous color of Beauty Balm works with most all skin tones and can be worn alone for a radiant glow.

Tips: For best results, apply with a flat foundation brush (the consistency is too watery to apply with fingertips). Use a patting technique to build your desired coverage without creating a caked look. Because of the matte finish, it is not necessary to set with a powder. Overall, I recommend Naked Skin for all skin types, including sensitive skins. Four stars!
