Unexpected bakery source: Italian Villa

Nestled in a rural shopping area sits a quaint little Italy restaurant decorated with a small patio and a neon red sign. It truly is the least expected place for fresh baked artisan breads. Italian Villa is not a bakery by any means, but they do sell fresh artisan breads to customers whom ask.

With a lack of bakeries in the area that sell artisan breads it is well worth jumping at the chance to purchase Italian Villa’s Italian sub rolls. This flaky sub bread is crisp on the outside and doughy on the inside.

The bread exceeds an amazing texture that soaks up any sauce you might add to it. Italian Villa serves their meatball, Philly cheese steak, and eggplant parmesan on these rolls. The bread is handmade and baked fresh every morning.

If interested in possibly purchasing some of the bread a suggestion might be to try one of the sub sandwiches first before ordering the bread itself. The bread is not listed on the menu to be sold it is a custom requests they would be happy to fulfill. While at the restaurant, try the house dressing with the salad or the dinner rolls. Tangy tomato flavor with small bites of garlic that pair wonderfully with the fresh dinner rolls.

Italian Villa offers up a lunch menu price no one should pass up. Enjoy pasta, bread, salad, and drink for $6.95 that beats even a full value meal at McDonald’s. Besides, pasta over a greasy burger is a healthy and delectable choice. While they serve the classic dishes, such as spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, or manicotti they also offer dishes with veal and even an Italian rendition of a rib eye steak.

The décor inside is set for a romantic dinner out complete with a simple rose on each table. The wood trimmed Venetian walls and café dark art set a comfortable setting many would love to escape to.

Complete with elegant iron entry and low light lanterns which set the mood of romance. However romantic, the dress attire is casual and can accommodate a fun family meal.

No alcohol is served as it is a BYOB restaurant with plenty of spare wine glasses for the filling. Best on the menu is a starter salad with house dressing, the capellini pomodoro with fresh rolls and a glass of a light red wine for eloquent evening.
