Walt Disney World is coming right along with the new Fantasyland expansion. I was just at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida the first part of February 2013 to check out the some of the new attractions for guest and to learn more to be able to help my clients with their trips. Today I am going to review the Little Mermaid ride. “Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid”.
There was very long waits to ride this ride but I wanted to experience the whole ride. The ride is inside Eric’s Castle. The Castle is fits the new Fantasyland along with Beast Castle. You enter the queue and wind your way along the path to the entrance of the castle it is well done with the sea and beach theme of the Little Mermaid. The Castle is as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. The queue is very spacious feeling.
You board a clam shell and are taken under the sea to where Ariel and her friends live. It is a very colorful ride through and really done well with the characters from the movie. There is plenty to see on this ride. I rode through twice and still I could go back and see new things on each ride. It is a great ride to ride in the heat of the day to get out of the sun and into some air condition. Kids of all ages should like this ride. Not really any area that would scare young children. I enjoyed the ride and will ride it again when I am at the Magic Kingdom.
