Venice is no stranger to opulence and luxury. In the words of the United Nations World Heritage Centre: "The whole city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece in which even the smallest building contains works by some of the world's greatest artists." Little wonder that a well-known hotel in Venice has opted to create one of the most luxurious suites the city has seen.
Described as 2,260 square feet of pure luxury, the Hotel Excelsior's San Marco suite comes with two bath areas, a dining terrace, a private beach cabana, and 360-degree views of the historic city. Luxury won't come at bargain rates. The new uber-suite outranks the hotel's existing $2,500 a night presidential suites.
Enjoy the view.
