True Beauty Box review (Photos)

Tired of my beauty subscription reviews yet? If not, then continue reading. I'm loving the idea that company's like True Beauty Box are changing the game. They are taking an idea that's already been done, but making it better. How you may ask? Better by filling their boxes with products that are safer and better.

True Beauty Box is a monthly beauty club that provides each member with organic, gluten-free and vegan products. This is for the everyday girl who wants to 'green' up her products or for the die hard vegan.

The company sent me the January box to review. First, the packaging is just as pretty as Glossybox. There was a cute pink ribbon around it and inside all of my samples were wrapped in red tissue paper. This month included:

The two skincare products were full size and the makeup was as well. My box also included 3 small sample packs that I can tuck away into my gym bag or purse. There's three types of boxes a member can receive. First, fill out the online beauty profile quiz (I love these) to determine if you're "Organically On Trend", "Eco Chic", "Purely Pretty", or "Natural Beauty". Then, choose which style of box you would like. My box was the "Veganista" box. The Veganista box provides 100% vegan and cruelty-free products. The other two boxes available are the "Flirt" box, which contains 4-5 makeup products each month and the "Indulge" box, which includes a combination of skin, body and makeup products. The indulge box is a little more expensive, selling for $40 a month.

I love that there's no commitment and you don't have to order a box every month if you choose not to. On the 12th of every month, members get a sneak peak of the products in each box, which allows you can to decide if you want it or not. You can choose to skip, cancel, and change profiles. Members also get 15% off at Lovetruenatural.com

At $30-$40 a month , this beauty subscription cost more then most. The products in my January box were worth well over $60 and are full size. It's a good value and I loved that I learned about the UK brand Green People. Without this box I probably would of never knew it existed. I've already used Lavera products in the past because I received a few of their products in other beauty subscription boxes. I adore their eyeliners, so I was excited to see that their loose powder was in this box.

Overall I'm impressed with True Beauty. It's great the products are organic, high quality and best of all a decent size. Because of the price, I wouldn't order True Beauty every month, but depending on what was available I'd get it a few times a year. Monthly beauty boxes aren't going anywhere anytime soon and natural products are definitely a trend that will be around for a very long time. If you don't care about what your products are made with, I still think this is worth a try. Even if it's for a month. Each box includes a feature quote and a picture of the contributor. Its a cute addition to an already cute package.
