Tropical Greed by Susan LaDue

I do not often review self-published books, but this one is an exception. Tropical Greed: A Kristen Maroney Mystery by Suan LaDue is a short but very enjoyable novel. I liked the author’s writing style, which made me feel as though I was right there with the characters. The story takes place in the Caribbean and revolves around the sea turtles that come to lay their eggs on the beaches.

I honestly felt as though I was there, and on the cold winter day when I read this story, the warmth of the Caribbean felt very good.

I also enjoyed the author’s knowledge of sea turtles and learned a few things about their plight, without feeling as though I was being “preached” to.

I am looking forward to reading her other novels and highly recommend this book for a nice, enjoyable read.
