Yes, the album leaked early, but the band decided to take quick action and has made the new album available for streaming in it's entirety before it's October 15th release. This seems to be an emerging trend as it happened to Avenged Sevenfold with their new album as well. However it had little effect on their album sales, as they went number one in the US, the UK and other popular markets. No doubt that this leak will not have much effect on Trivium either.
Vengeance Falls is cleverly arranged, solid metal masterpiece with plenty of riffage and breakdowns throughout. It also has a melodic groove and is a great listen all the way through. The track list is:
01. Brave This Storm
02. Vengeance Falls
04. No Way To Heal
05. To Believe
06. At The End Of This War
07. Through Blood And Dirt And Bone
08. Villainy Thrives
09. Incineration: The Broken World
10. Wake [The End Is Nigh]
Highlights of the album include: a breakdown laden intro to the opening song Brave This Storm, acoustic work that leads into the heavy, rythym driven body of At the End of This War and the hypnotic, ballad like first verses of Wake [The End is Nigh]. The album art, which looks like an ode to the Transformers movies is equally as enjoyable and pulls everything together nicely. It may feel a little less heavy in spots than previous albums, but it's definitely worth checking out on the stream.
