T.N.T. Jackson is the 1974 Blaxploitation film. Diana “T.N.T.” Jackson comes to Hong Kong to avenge her brother’s death. She soon comes in contact with a Heroin smuggler named Sid and his right hand man Charlie, whom she sleeps with. She soon has to fight her way through Hong Kong. T.N.T. does find out that Charlie killed her brother but then runs into Sid’s girlfriend Elaine, who turns out to be an undercover cop. Not trusting the police, T.N.T. decides to get revenge on Charlie herself. Will she succeed?
This is a typical B-movie Blaxploitation film. The fight scenes at least have an interesting twist that keeps them from getting boring. T.N.T. shows some smarts as she repeatedly turns off the lights in order to confuse her attackers. The end is a little surprising as it stops when T.N.T. lands the killing blow, making it brutal. It’s an average movie, although some viewers may think it’s poorly made. Honolulu Blaxploitation film fans should rent it first.
