Topshop is a renowned for creating some of the most beautiful and trendy clothing for women. The brand features a number of items, including accessories. Topshop also launched a line of cosmetics, and it is first-rate. Apart from the core line of cosmetics, a new limited-edition collection was launched for the 2013 Winter: Dark Side of Nude. A few of the products were reviewed, and they are truly outstanding.
The first product reviewed is the lipstick in shade Fawn (nude). There are two lipsticks available, the other being Wicked (blood red). They retail for $18. The formula is very smooth and hydrating. Fawn is a wonderful shade for any skin tone. Even though it is a nude shade, there is a wonderful peachy undertone to it. It is not too nude. It contains the perfect amount of color for everyone. The lipstick wore for numerous hours after application. There was no drying affect from wearing the product, and it stayed opaque as well.
The Dark Side of Nude collection also features two eyeshadow trios in Atmosphere (purple, gold and green) and Prism (black, pink, and silver). Prism was reviewed. Each trio is available for $32. There are three metallic shades in each trio. The prism shades are truly beautiful. The eyeshadows go on smoothly, are very pigmented and have excellent color payoff. These shades are perfect for Winter, and any time of year. Like the Fawn lipstick, the eyeshadows will compliment any skin tone.
The final products that were reviewed from the collection are two nail polishes. The shades Thorn (Burgundy), and Panther (black and silver glitter) were reviewed. These polishes retail for $12. There are two other shades as well: Star Dust (gold glitter), and Granite (dark grey). Thorn went on very smoothly, and was opaque with just one coat. It is a stunning shade that is perfect for this time of year. Panther went on easily as well, and provides the perfect touch of fun to complete any nail look. Panther can certainly be used to achieve nail looks for various occasions.
Topshop’s new collection of cosmetics for Winter is not only impressive, but high-quality. The products reviewed are truly worthy of attention and praise. Topshop will certainly continue to garner rave reviews for their fantastic array of noteworthy products.
