The Tokyo Stop Restaurant in Oak Harbor is a converted fast food building but the quality of the food belies its fast food origin.
All of the entries are cooked fresh and although I have only sampled a few of them, I am especially impressed with their gyoza (pot-stickers) that can be a meal or an appetizer. They serve 10 gyoza for less than $5, an outstanding price in the pot-sticker market. Their dumpling sauce is also very good with the gyoza.
By the way, gyoza, pot-sticker and dumpling are all the same thing. Depending on the source, they could be stuffed with a sausage like mixture or just vegetables.
The gyoza is deep fried instead of pan fried and steamed, but are good and ready in short order. They even have a drive through window to pick up phone orders.
Located at 910 Midway Blvd in Oak Harbor, give them a try.
