We have three flights of stairs to navigate to get to the loft, where we have three cat boxes. You can imagine how much fun it is to lug the litter up these stairs, especially since the cats don't offer to help.
Over the years, the litter seems to have gotten heavier, but no, it's just my knees and me. When I got the invite to try a new brand of cat litter that's about 1/2 the weight of the brand I'm currently using, I was thrilled! If my cats like it, so will I.
So far, Tidy Cats LightWeight 24/7 Performance litter seems to be the answer to my litter woes. The container I received is almost twice the size of the other Tidy Cats I've been purchasing, but it weighs substantially less.
I'm only using it in one of the boxes, just to be on the safe side, but so far, there have been no complaints from the cats. The odor control seems even better than the previous Tidy Cats I was using, which thrills me even more.
If you're like I am, and are tired of the heavy lifting of other litters, you ought to give this a try.
