Turns out Jazz Laid Down on a 46-ton printing press is sublime. Part of MUSE/IQUE’s innovative Uncorked Series, the musical event on Monday, February 11, 2013 played to a packed audience at the Castle Press. Eight thumbs up for this diverse and entertaining evening! Talented electro-acoustic, jazz, funk and world music musicians TriTone Asylum, gorgeous and graceful Haylee Roderick, Alice Alyse's (Joffrey Ballet) inventive choreography, gracious Castle Press hosts Susan and George Kinney (bartending), beyond smooth Charlie Haden fresh from his Grammy Award presentation, the effective lighting that turned the pressroom into a theater and curator Rachael Worby breaking down the jazz rocked the house.
