In my expert opinion, Three's has some of the best food on Maui and not only that, they are so supportive of local music that they have someone playing outside in the dining area and indoors simultaneously! I can only hope that other Maui restaurant owners take a hint from these successful guys and follow suit.
Last night I stopped back in to hear Louise Lambert on Keyboard and vocals, accompanied by guitar/sax/clainet and a drummer.
That was inside the dining room to the left of the door as you walk inside this favorite Maui Restaurant. It is no surprise to me that they were features on the local Maui Scene publication that comes out here on Thursday's as an inset to The Maui News recently.
I was served a White Dragon Roll, which is a favorite. Love that Hamachi.
These guys cater MACC events, have a mobile food truck which is a fairly new endeavor and are building a return clientele of travels and locals alike. There are some specials too, so be sure to check out Three's Bar and Grill's web site for all the detail. This is becoming the place to be for happy hour. It's classy, relaxed, fun and the music last night was danceable. In fact there is a group of dancers that I usually see at Louise Lambert's music gigs. Go to www.louiselambert.com and check out her web site and click on upcoming events to purchase your ticket and for information about our up coming Joni Mitchell Tribute night. Louise gave us a preview to coming attractions last night and played a Joni Mitchell tune that was really satisfying to hear.
You have to experience Three's for yourself. You can view my previous articles & reviews of them.
They are located in Kalama Village on South Kihei Road. I love the food there and you will too.
Mahalo my dear readers for subscribing and keeping up with the best of the best of Maui, restaurants, events, and entertainment.
We have some really wonderful music in South Maui for everyone to enjoy.
Be sure to keep an eye on my event coming up Oct. 19th, The Tribute To Joni Mitchell. Ticket sales started today.
Again, all you need to do is a google search: gaiabest examiner.com and insert the name of the event or restaurant you want to know about and you can get all the links to my archived articles and reviews as you desire them.
