Inbound Marketing, done right, is very labor intensive. As such, when you hire it out, it's not cheap.
Why is it so labor intensive?
Inbound marketing is about doing two things, simultaneously, on your website.
Thing #1) Attract your audience
You do this via publish, publish, publish! Not just publish but publish articles that are really useful and impart good information. Does your business sell and service bicycles? Publish about bicycles.
How much do you need to publish? MINIMALLY.... I recommend 21 snippet articles per post (each one is between 200 and 250 words) and 2 anchor post articles per week (each one is between 400 and 500 words).
That means someone has to write between 5,000 and 6,250 words per week.
Every week, week in, and week out.
Be aware, there is a format you need to follow both within each individual post as well as within your overall publishing strategy.
This publishing strategy gets the attention of the search engines who then in turn bring your audience to your website.
Thing #2) Convert some of those visitors into leads for your business
This is not less important that attracting your audience, but unless you have an audience this is irrelevant. If no one comes to to your website, your conversions will be zero, so attracting your audience is a necessary prerequisite to this having any relevance.
This is nothing more than effective Calls to Action (CTAs).
Remember that no one likes to be sold, but everyone likes to buy, so the "best" (I know this is a subjective term) CTAs suggest, rather than instruct.
Phrases like "For more information with.....", and "For help with your....." will encourage people to load and fill out your Contact Us form.
This is a review, so what exactly is it a review for?
Many small businesses can not afford to hire a service to do Inbound Marketing for them, as the MINIMAL monthly expense is $1,000 and if you want to see "good" (another subjective term) results you need to be willing to commit $3,000 a month. Most small businesses simply can not afford that level of expense.
So what's a small business to do?
