The restaurant opened in 2008 and finds that fresh sushi and its high quality are of upmost importance, while maintaining reasonable prices and great service. It was recently remodeled, which provides a updated modern Japanese look.
As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with gusto, “Moshi Moshi,” and smiles all around. Once seated, your server will ensure that you have a food and sushi menu for your review.
If you go at lunchtime, you can enjoy the discounted lunch entrees or lunch bento boxes. With the entrée and bento box, you received miso soup, green salad, and steamed rice. The lunch bento also includes two pieces of gyoza and eight pieces of California roll.
If you go during dinner, your bento box will include two pieces of shrimp and veggie tempura, two pieces of gyoza, and four pieces of California roll.
If you want value and assortment of sushi or sashimi, choose them in your entrée or bento in order to get a variety of options, while maintaining your cost within reason.
If you have special requests, Sushi Avenue will do what they can to accommodate. If you do not want teriyaki on your salmon or chicken teriyaki, they will oblige. If you want any of the rolls spicy, they will spice it up for you. If you prefer a hand roll over a cut roll, they will be happy to accommodate your request.
The varieties of rolls provide a good selection to meet your needs. Many of the rolls are named after local mascots, cities, or schools. The sushi chef takes price in presenting you with a delicate and beautiful arrangement of selected choices.
Your variety of beverages includes sodas, wine, sake, beer, and green tea. Desserts are limited to ice cream and deep-fried banana with chocolate and whip cream.
