The apocalypse has arrived, and zombies have taken over the world. Now you have to fight your way through a zombie horde to survive in Zombie HQ. You begin the game in a walkway area surrounding a graveyard holding a shotgun. After you make your way through the walkway shooting zombies that are on both sides on the walkway, you find yourself in another area with gates. Once you take out more Zombies, you make your way to a rooftop. The rooftop acts as your Headquarters; from here you can access missions, switch between a female and male character, visit a resting area to replenish your health and play a slot machine to get items. The controls are easy to get used to; you use the a, w, s and d keys to move your character. The left mouse button fires any weapon you have, as well as doing a melee attack with any object you have. The f key is used to throw grenades. The Q key is used to switch between your weapons and your melee item. Once you master the controls, you could have real fun with this game. After you complete the first mission, you gain access to a shop area, where you could purchase weapons, melee items, explosives, apparel, Headquarter items, and character upgrades. I love the variety of missions in this game; in every mission, you are doing something different. In one mission, you have to fend off zombies trying to attack you on rooftops; in another mission, you are defending an area for a drop off. The weapons work really well in this game, especially the pistol, shotgun, and gun turret. An airlift area appears at your headquarters after you complete the survivor rescue mission; you can use the airlift area to have your survivors airlifted to safety for rewards. The level of difficulty is really good with this game; as you do the harder missions, the zombies don't die as fast. Also, it takes more ammo to kill them, so you're better off redoing the easy missions to get enough cash to fully upgrade your weapons to complete the harder missions. Zombie HQ is a well done shooter game; it is really fun and easy to adapt to.
