This week and weekend is big for the Nashville beer industry. Why you ask? Well it is Nashville Craft Beer Week and the Predators Craft Beer Festival is on Saturday. Yes all of this is happening this week.
As you probably have seen, at beer joints and breweries all over town there are tap takeovers and cask tasting from various local and national breweries. The next few days will be no different. Some of the events coming up are: New Belgium meet the brewer event at 12 South taproom on Thursday June 26th. Another event going on tomorrow is the Rivertown Beer Dinner at Publicity. This is a reservation only event. On Friday, Finch Brewery will be at Hops and Crafts. Also on Saturday M.L Rose on Charlotte is having a craft beer brunch with Oskar Blues starting at 10 am. Tennesse Brew Works is also having a big outdoor party with live music on Saturday from 12-8. This is there block party that you have heard so much about in conjunction with Lightning 100. Google Nashville Craft Beer week for a full calendar of events.
As I stated earlier, the Predators Craft Beer Festival is this Saturday as well. The festival will take place at the Bridgestone Arena from 1-6. This event looks to be better then last year with new beers and breweries. The VIP tickets have been sold out, but I'm sure that there are still some general admission tickets left.
So head to your favorite watering hole or event and drink some craft beer. Also don't forget that on July 1st Craft Brewed will be offering high gravity growlers. You can also follow me on twitter and untappd @princessofhops.
