The Village Pub was originally opened in Las Vegas in 1968 where Ellis Island Casino now stands. Today, there are multiple locations in Las Vegas and their success can be attributed to mouthwatering food that is reasonably priced. The family recipes are served in a cozy atmosphere by friendly and efficient wait staff. The Village Pub uses only the finest ingredients and is well known for one of their specialties – Fish & Chips!
While all of their food is delicious and their Daily Specials are a great value, the Fish & Chips continues to stand out as their signature dish. The Icelandic Cod is dipped in a batter made with their Ellis Island Handcrafted Beer and then fried to crispy, crunchy perfection. It is served with seasoned steak fries, homemade tartar sauce, and lemon wedges. The Village Pub is also one of the most reasonably priced places in Las Vegas to get good Fish & Chips.
The other signature dish they offer is the Village Pub Pot Pie. It is baked fresh to order and features all white meat chicken and fresh vegetables cooked in rich creamy gravy. They top it with a flaky pastry crust and bake it to a golden brown, making this a dish that would rival any pot pie mom used to make!
If you aren’t in the mood for fish, The Village Pub has plenty of other menu items to offer. Try out their Top Sirloin Special, a ten ounce, aged, center-cut top sirloin steak served with sautéed vegetables and your choice of potato or rice pilaf for only $9.49. Other menu catagories include Appetizers, Soups, Salads and Chili, Sandwiches & Wraps, Sliders, Pasta & Italian Favorites, All Day Breakfast, House Specialties, and their Signature Burgers. While the menu is too extensive to elaborate in detail, a few other offerings to note are their Steak Sandwich, Club House Sandwich, Apple-Pecan Salad, Chicken-Fried Steak, and a “Build Your Own” Angus Burger.
Their Signature Burgers are a half-pound of ground Angus beef served with your choice of seasoned Steak Fries, Coleslaw, Sweet Potato Tots or Potato Salad. If you are a burger lover, then you will find the choices taste-tempting! Along with The Classic, you will find The Yorky, The Southwest, The Smokehouse, The Blues, and The California. Don’t forget to save room for dessert. One of their desserts is a Root Beer Float made with Ellis Island Handcrafted Root Beer and French Vanilla Ice Cream!
