11 MONTHS - 66 CITIES - 66 SHOWS 4 Women. 2 Kids. A Soul Mission. A Heart Calling. NO EXCUSES! Experience Experiencing Itself... That is the Rebel Road Tour presented by Simran Singh.
A few weeks ago I wrote a book review for Simran’s book “Conversations with the Universe” and now I am back again reviewing the Rebel Road Tour which was in the Baltimore MD area on Monday – Tuesday, September 9-10, 2013, 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Monday night’s event consisted of a panel discussion moderated by Simran herself where she inquired and engaged four panelists in a dialogue of life affirming messages.
The panel, Sister Jenna, Rev. Anthony Farmer, Honi Borden, and Rev. Dr. Raymont Anderson discussed everything from our personal experiences with death, rebirth, transformation and evolution to what it means to quiet the “silly noise” and remember who and what we are as beings meant to live in a state of bliss.
It was an amazing evening of enlightenment, illumination, and elucidation of many of life’s seeming mysteries. Some of the key gems that people took away and things people were saying were:
1. Living fear free
2. It was so amazing to meet Simran in person! I feel so elevated from listening/watching the incredible panelists, performers, audience members, volunteers and interpreters. I was moved by what everyone shared and it was magical to witness the interactions of what people took away from this experience. Thank you for re-igniting my spark - my heart is bursting with love!
3. The power within a hug
4. The importance of dying (non physical) and rebirth
Another awesome thing to have witnessed was the interpreting that was provided by four fantastic interpreters Jamie Whitbread, Carrie Quigley, Kelly Lallo, and Kevin Lowery. Their skill allowed several members of the deaf community to have access to both nights of grace and service.
Tuesday night’s event featured the musical mastery of Peg Zuniga, the American Sign Language art form as presented by B.E.L.I.E.V.E., and an evening of inspiration as Simran told the audience about her personal story, evolution, remembering, and birthing of 11:11 magazine, 11:11 Radio, and the Rebel Road Tour!
The evening ended in smiles, hugs, and lots of gratitude as people spoke of how things in their life seemed to click as they sat back to take in the gems offered. Two days of powerful love and light. I am honored and humbled to have been a part of the event. I am looking forward to working with this amazing group of people again… Stay tuned!
