The Finale season of The Office has been quite disappointing, last night episode was no exception. In this episode was part of what was suppose to be the pilot for the Dwight spin off The Farm. After watching the episode its no wonder why NBC scrapped the project.

In The Farm we learn that Dwight has a Brother and Sister, and a nephew. The episode centers on Dwight’s Aunts funeral, and a strange funeral it was. During the funeral the Schrutes have a tradition of shooting the dead to make sure they are really dead, this scene was just so wrong. It was probable the most out there thing that The Office has ever done. All the scenes that took place at Dwight’s farm were not funny at all and some where just a little too odd. If The Farm had gotten picked up it looks like it would have been about Dwight his brother, Sister and Nephew, running a farm. Based on the glimpse of the farm life that we got from this episode it wouldn’t have been all that entertaining. The characters of his Brother and Sister where not interesting. It’s hard to see that they are even related at all, you would have never had guess that they were his siblings.
Back at the office Todd Packer came for a visit. Todd claims that he is in rehab and trying to make amends. The whole office decides whether or not to forgive Packer. This story line was boring as well. Basically the whole time they are huddled up in the conference room deciding if they will accept the cup cakes that he has brought for them as a sign of forgiveness. In the end they don’t forgive Packer, but once he leaves they eat the cupcakes that as it turns out Packer has drugged to get back at them for having him fired.
Overall I give this episode one star because it was not entertaining at all.
