The Lost Medallion comes to theaters soon

If Indiana Jones style adventure is your thing, you won’t want to miss The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone coming to theaters nationwide this March.

Presented by MeThinks Entertainment and starring top-notch actors—including Alex Kendrick (Courageous, Fireproof and Facing the Giants) and Mark Dacascos (Iron Chef, Hawaii Five-O)—The Lost Medallion is the story of Billy Stone, a 13-year-old who sets out to find the lost medallion his mother had given him before she died.

It begins when Daniel Anderson (Kendrick) stops by at a local foster home, and finds himself cornered into replacing the absent storyteller; he spontaneously creates a riveting tale that provides welcome reprieve from the children’s own harsh reality, and invites them into an escapade full of valuable lessons about friendship, honesty, humility, hope, sacrifice…

Daniel’s story centers around Billy (Billy Unger – Lab Ratson Disney XD,American Treasure, You Again) and his best friend Allie (Sammi Hanratty- American Girl, A Christmas Carol)—characters that the foster children can relate to—and their quest to recover the medallion which possesses magical powers. But they are not the only ones seeking the medallion. So is the cruel dictator, Cobra, who would use it to implement greater evil.

The mission takes the children to Cobra’s island where they eventually hook up with some intriguing characters including an arrogant young king (Jansen Panettiere- The Perfect Game) whose attitude is both challenged and changed along the way.

The Lost Medallion is a story within a story—a tale of adventure that teaches precious foster children that each one is a special “somebody”. It is not only an epic family movie but also an example of the significant surge in popularity and demand for family-friendly media.
