If watching an egg fry on a sidewalk is not your idea of a kid-friendly summer activity in Atlanta, then you may want to head indoors. Of course, this presents the challenge of keeping the kiddos from drooling in front of several episodes of Spongebob Squarepants. No offense to Spongebob or Patrick, but this does nothing to help physically wear out children so that parents can get a break too.

One popular option is indoor bounce house playgrounds. However, many turn out to be a germ factory, or are over capacity to the point that a bloody nose, or black eye is sure to be a part of your afternoon.

Located in the former Douglasville Monkey Joe’s is MoJoBaS Fun Factory. Instead of cramming fifty jumbo inflatables into 10,000 square feet, MoJoBaS houses three of the usual inflatable slides/obstacle courses, one smaller inflatable for children under three, and boasts the only magnetic climbing wall in Georgia.

Additionally, they have a separate smaller area for toddlers with a chalk board, and age-appropriate toys. Each inflatable appears to be brand new-another plus.

The snack bar has a good variety of junk food, and healthier options. In other words, you can go for the bag of Doritos or the Nature’s Valley Granola Bar. The guilt level is yours to control. If you plan on staying for lunch, you can order a whole Papa John’s pie for 12 bucks.

In the back of MoJoBaS are three private party rooms, and MoJoBaS’ birthday party prices are right on par with the going rate.

MoJoBaS gets four stars for good clean fun. Oh, and don't forget your socks!
