On February 23, 2013 The Greg Golden Band and friends, Paul Holdgate (Montrose), Bud Gaugh (Sublime) and Brad Lang (Y&T) joined together at The Alley in Sparks to rock the night away. And that's exactly what they did. The show was a release party for Golden and Holdgates new single "Long Way Home".

There were many celebrities in attendance.

Max Volume from 105.7 KOZZ introduced the band to the stage. Also in attendance were Rob Hanna and Aaron Leigh (Frank Hannon Band) just to name a few. The very lovely Bazarre Guitar Girls (Summer Black, Bella Rios and Alexis Jensen) were also there posing with the fans in photos while handing out copies of the single. They also had a raffle to win an Ibanez Guitar along with lots of t-shirts. The lucky winner of the guitar was, Dave Siegel.

There were four very good sets.

The first set was The Greg Golden Band, (Greg Golden-guitar, Red Dawn-vocals,Tony Phoenix-bass and Jerry Colman-drums. Bud Gaugh from "Sublime" joined in to jam on a couple of the last songs of this set.

The second set was with Golden (guitar), Paul Holdgate (vocals, guitar), Brad Lang (bass) and Coleman (drums). During the second song "Long way Home", they filmed a rockin' video to be released at a later date.

This set lasted around 50 minutes and went like this,

"Fire & Water", "Long Way Home", "Rock Steady", "Smoke On The Water", "Helter Skelter", "Maybe I'm A Leo", "Rock Candy" and "Man On A Silver Mountian".

The third set was with Golden (guitar), Dawn (vocals), Colman (drums) and filling in on bass was Aaron Leigh from the "Frank Hannon Band".

This set lasted around 45 minutes and went like this,

"Greg Original In D", "Gonna Be Suspicious", "Bridge Of Sighs", "Too Rolling Stoned", 'Day Of The Eagle", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Walk Away", "Simple Man", "Voodoo Child" and "Superstitious".

The last set of the night went over 30 minutes and with many GGB originals, went like this,

"Black Magic Woman", "Stormy Monday", "Locomotive Breath", "The Thrill Is Gone", (originals) "Bad Winter", "Lee's Song", "Bizarre Guitar Song", "Burning Hearts", "Oreo", "Spanish Song" and "Gun Shop".
