The Green Monkey is nestled in a quaint little booth just in the indoor portion (Education Building) of the flea market shops at the Raleigh State Fair Grounds. They are open every Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 6 pm execpt in October or you can shop online 24/7 here.
The store is small and is packed full of everything from t-shirts to rainbow rings. They have a huge selection of bumper stickers, buttons, magnets and some pretty nice jewelry.

When I first walked into the shop the gentleman behind the desk was polite and quick to let me know about a raffle drawing being held for the month. Within the shop, they've packed a lot of material in a small area. I had candles to smell, buttons to read and shirts to sift through. The most impressive thing was the very nice selection of silver jewelry with rainbow crystals in them. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to find tasteful rainbow jewelry but The Green Monkey has done this with taste and quality. I simply love their items.
