Sept 24, 2010 - El Caballero de la Salsa [The gentleman of Salsa], Gilberto Santa Rosa, performed last night at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello backed by some of the most talented Salsa musicians in Los Angeles. Hundreds attended hoping to listen to their favorite romantic Salsa songs, including “La agarro bajando,” “Que alguien me diga,” and Santa Rosa’s version of Polo Montanez’s “Un millon de estrellas.” They were not disappointed.
The concert also featured the local Salsa band Chino Espinoza y los Duenos del Son.
Coming up at the Quiet Cannon, Colombian Salsa band Grupo Niche and La Sonora Matancera are scheduled on October 9. A flier with detailed information is posted at http://www.VidaSalsera.com
