Temptation...Greed...Margot had a slightly troubled childhood, and after struggling to make ends meet as a journalist she finally had enough...She deserved better...And men were so easy to manipulate-bat your eyelashes, show some skin, give them compliments, the next thing you know they are buying you gifts and more. But she doesn't want to be a kept woman. She wants to take everything these pathetic men have; even to the extent that she will steal bank account information and slip bills from their wallets. Margot makes quite a "living" for herself this way, she poses as a seductive financial advisor, suckers men into giving her personal information, then robs them blind and disappears, heading to a new place, giving herself a new name.
Only one man seems to see Margot coming, a psychologist who specializes in human facial expressions and body language and picks up on her deep, dark, manipulative ways. But he underestimates her, and it is a slap in the face when she slowly begins to ruin his life.
One day, Margot wakes up in the hospital. She has suffered from brain damage caused by a concussion, and she has amnesia. Things come back very slowly but she has very little memory about how she got in intensive care, body broken as if it had been struck by a bus. The handsome detective who sits by her bedside seems to know more than she does about her situation-and the danger that faces Margot when she walks out of the hospital.
Will Margot face up to her crimes, finally? Will the men she ruined get their revenge? She has many enemies, all of which have plotted her demise in very creative ways. What will finally happen to Margot?
