The Electronic and Pop Rhythms of Aradia

Listening to Aradia can be likened to sipping a brew of electronic and pop rhythms. Aradia's vocal tone is unique, full of intrigue and a haunting style. Perhaps what is most striking about her album, Possibilities: Dark, is that is a cohesively put together project that will undeniably capture the listener's ear.

"Knock Knock," the starting point of the 5 tracks featured on the work, is a metaphoric vignette on how Aradia allowed love into her heart. Reminiscent of Hole, the track unveils a grungy, and sassy personality of the singer, songwriter. While the song exhibits personality and depth, it does not showcase the talent that Aradia possesses as the songs that follow do. "Magic," takes the listener into a voyage of new-age electronic. Aradia seems to feel comfortable within the abyss of multi-instrumentation and a whirlwind of audio effects.

"Dream," follows suit to the winning formula that many electronic songs have capitalized on in the past, but is distinct in its own right as Aradia is able to show off the transitions that she can do with her voice. "M-Class," is packed with sci-fi lyrics, that are fresh along with many diverse sounds that make for an enjoyable taste to the musical palate. "So Long," the closer of Possibilities: Dark is eerie and perhaps the most introspective memento found among the 5 pieces. It is as if Aradia was intent to bare her thoughts with detailed precision on this track as the focus is on the lyrics rather than the subtle undercurrent of audio similar to the cadences of Sneaker Pimps.

Since her teenage years, Aradia has radiated within the realm of electronic and rock music. With a heavy ladened approach to writing, Aradia, represents an artists who is a winning combination of sensual electronic rock. If Possibilities: Dark is any indication of what the rock arena has to look forward to from Aradia, she is on her way to becoming a household name.
