In Roads of Rome 3, the city of Rome is at peace, until news comes that Barbarians are destroying your beloved Roman provinces. Now it's up to you to go to these provinces and rebuild what the Barbarians have destroyed. Your first task is pretty simple; you have to rebuild two brides and roads. In order to rebuild the bridges and roads, you must collect wood and meat from trees and bushes. There is some strategy involved; when you go to collect wood, you sacrifice one of the meats, so you have to balance it out so you have the right amount of wood and meat to rebuild the roads and bridges. After the first task is done, the next tasks involve rebuilding pig farms, sawmills, and water mills that will give you meat, wood, and water. Also, in some of the tasks, Barbarians appear and try to frighten you, and in order to make them disappear, you have to keep clicking on them. Once you play the game in relaxed mode, go ahead and play the game in the rest of the modes for a real challenge. What I find really fun and engaging about this game is collecting all the wood and meat to rebuild the bridges, roads, pig farms, sawmills, and water mills. The level of difficulty is really well-balanced; you go from just repairing bridges and roads to collecting stones to build towers to defend against the Barbarians. Roads of Rome 3 is a very fun strategy game with an easy interface and nice graphics. The gameplay is pretty easy; to collect and repair everything, you just click on it. Barbarians are trying to destroy the Roman provinces; get ready to use your strategy skills to drive them back to where they came from.
