This has got to be one of the best comedy DVDs in the last ten years. These are all classic Carol Burnett skits. From 1967-78. Much of America was in front of their television sets watching 'The Carol Burnett Show' on Saturday night. Along with Burnett was Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Lyle Waggoner, and later would come Dick Van Dyke to make up one of the best comedy groups TV has ever known.

Some of the skits would evolve into spin-offs shows. Vicki Lawrence would take her role of Thelma Harper in "The Family" sketch and turn it into "Mama's Family".

Carol brings to us the classically hilarious skit "As The Stomach Turns". A parody of the hit soap opera "As the World Turns". In it she would play Marion a thirty something woman who lives in Canoga Falls. The stories would deal with items that you would see in a soap opera and not the real world. It is genius pure genius and lives forever on this DVD.

Carol Burnett was notorious for having great guest stars such as Charo, Carl Reiner, Roddy McDowall, Ruth Buzzi, and Andy Griffith.

StarVista is bringing this DVD to you for sale on April 15, 2014. The quality of the DVD for sound and visual is excellent. This is one of the greatest shows ever to hit the small screen and having this timeless DVD in your library is a must.

Carol Burnett and her crew held down the fort so to speak for eleven years. Along the way she made a generation of us laugh for many a year. This 6 DVD set is one the greatest compilations of humor that we have ever seen and heard. All I can say is Enjoy.
