Cadillac vehicles have always had the words “style” and “excellence” attached to their brand. The new breed of Cadillac cars, which include the ATS and XTS to name a few, are taking the car world by storm. The 2013 Cadillac XTS combines, technology, power, speed and practicality all in one automobile. As I test-drove the XTS for a week I found out how driving can really be when you drive a Cadillac.
From the innovative CUE7 driver interface, which leaps two generations ahead, to its groundbreaking safety technology, the all-new Cadillac XTS is a bold look at what the future holds. Its provocative profile pulls you in, while our revolutionary dual-mode Magnetic Ride Control and 304 HP underfoot provide immediate exhilaration. Stunningly modern, yet meticulously crafted, powerful, yet efficient, tautly proportioned, yet spacious.
The XTS’s MSRP starts at $44k and goes up to $64K+. This car is a perfect balance of luxury, speed and style. I drove this car to my event in Queens for the 2 Chainz plaque presentations, and executives alike couldn’t take their eyes off the car. There’s a distinct look that only the Cadillac possesses and anyone who’s a car fan knows a Cadillac when he sees one. I also drove up to the Mohegan Sun for WineFest, and the 2-hour trip was as smooth as silk. Every time a car got to close the rear view mirror flashed, the seat vibrated on the side that the car was in, and the dashboard also flashed. The technology in this car was the most advanced I’ve ever seen. For gas mileage the EPA-estimated mpg 17 city / 28 highway, FWD. EPA-estimated mpg 17 city / 26 highway, AWD.
