Last night on The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon, Leonard and Howard go to Howard’s old middle school to talk to the female students about science in an attempt to get more females interested in science. While it was a good idea they fail to connect with their audience and as Sheldon points out it would have been better if they had women talking to the female students. In the end Sheldon calls Bernadette and Amy and puts them on speakerphone to talk to the students.
Meanwhile Raj goes on a date with his new girlfriend Lucy. Raj seeks out Penny, Bernadette and Amy’s advice as to where to take Lucy since she has issues with social situations and Raj can’t talk to women with out Alcohol. Raj decides to have their date at the library and packs a picnic for them. Since Raj can’t drink at the library, but apparently you can have picnic lunches there, he and Lucy have a text date. They text back and forth, which leads to some funny autocorrect moments, like when Lucy text she designs porn web sites which was suppose to read prom web sites. It seems like Raj has met his perfect match, there date was awkwardly adorable.
While all this was going on the girls were playing hooky from work, to go to Disney Land. Amy faked being sick to get out of work, while Penny said she just left. On the ride their Bernadette suggests they all go to the princes’ make over place, they all want to be Cinderella but Bernadette calls it. Was anyone else expecting some sort of reference to Once Upon A Time? It would have been fun to see more of their adventure in Disney Land.
Overall I give the episode three stars. The Raj story line was great, and him and Lucy seem to be hitting it off. The Sheldon, Leonard and Howard story line however fell flat. The story line with the girls going to Disney Land was good but there wasn’t enough their, or enough time to add more to it.
