From any fans from back in the day, "The Best of Monday Nitro Vol. 2" is simply more of the same, reliving the heydays that professional wrestling experience going all the way back to the very first main event in Nitro history as Ric Flair took on Sting in the mall of America, to a plethora of great matches featuring professional wrestling icons like Hulk Hogan and Randy 'Macho Man' Savage, quality fan favorite performers like Diamond Dallas Page, Booker T, current WWE superstars like Chris Jericho & Rey Mysterio Jr, as well as some WWE Hall of Famers like The Road Warriors and Eddie Guerrero. There are also jaw dropping moments like Madusa trashing the WWE Woman's title on live TV, the split of the n.W.o which gave birth to the Wolfpac and the debut of Goldberg.
With 28 matches and even more classic Nitro moments, this is a great time capsule of some of the great memories that this show produced and made the Monday Night War's so very memorable. It leans on the action rather then a mediocre documentary and with Diamond Dallas Page popping up to give colour for the occasional moment, it's all just a lot of fun. After watching "The Best of WCW Monday Nitro Vol. 2" the only thing you'll be asking yourself is when is Vol. 3 coming out. A fine professional wrestling collection for all fans, the ones who want to relive the glory days and for those who are wondering what the older fans are talking about.
