The controversial MTV Video Music Awards took over Sunday Night's entertainmen slot, hosted by egomaniac wana be comedian Kevin Hart. Who's mouth is bigger than his 5'5 foot frame. Acting as a catalitical instigator, against the artist that appeared last night, which caused heckling from other major artist out of spike.Like a jealous ex, Kevin himself wasn't even a very good comic actor, hosting SNL earlier in 2013 or recently on the big screen.
Yikes, how about Da Gaga! What a come back performance by Lady Gaga, after her first since a hip surgery forced the cancellation of the remainder of her "Born This Way Ball" tour in February. She stripped down to her tini- bikini to finish her performance of ‘Applause’ on the VMAs, almost baring all to end her opening performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
The daring performer had a crazy amount of quick outfit changes during her VMA performance, Sunday night but her most memorable outfit was certainly her mermaid bikini, oh my, that Gaga. With her sexy strip down, Lady Gaga really gave the perky Miley Cyrus a run for the unofficial honorary title of "Most Shocking Strip Down Of The 2013 VMA's"!
What was surely a contender for the least-uptight awards show currently on the television, MTV Video Music Awards set the shock factor last night, with Kevin Hart who was only supposed to usher us through the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday by serving as the evening's hosts. Instead he made unfunny inappropriate remarks, responding after Miley Cyrus was done performing...with, "Miley better get a d--k pregnancy test"... after all that grinding," after finishing her new hit "We Can't Stop." Then later warning Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez to "stay the hell away from" Robin Thicke."Unless y'all want to end up on a d--k amber alert or something, y'all keep your a--es still."
Arriving at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, Ms. Katy Perry was hot and sassy and ready for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in a leopard print dress, but it was nowhere near as fierce as her performance! Katy dominated the famed Brooklyn bridge for a Rocky themed performance, which was extraordinary!
Proud new papa Kanye West was definetly set to sock it to the VMA's while on his best behavior thanks to his new-found happiness with girlfriend Kim Kardashian and their daughter North with the most performances by an artist at the annual awards show. Performing his single "Bl--- S---n Head" off of his latest album "Yeezus."
Speaking of Kanye, his VMA favorite winner Taylor Swift wasn't to worried about her former nemices West, her arrow's were aimed at One Direction who might now wake up needing some ice after Taylor Swift‘s flamed broiled them during Sunday nights show. It all started when the boy band was on stage presenting the award for “Best Pop Video” That's when camera's caught Taylor really letting it rip to her bestie Selena Gomez, who was seated next to her. Just as Taylor’s ex is heartthrob Harry Styles who she seems to have contempt for was talking to band mate Zayn Malik, they said that the “best fans are in New York,” Taylor then turned to Selena and was caught mouthing “Shut the f**k up” with a pissed off look on her face.
Hmm...it looks like nobody in One Direction is safe from Taylors dirty language, later when she called Harry and the boys out after accepting her award, “Best Female Video” expressing how much she hated 1D by knowingly thanking Harry for the award, saying “I also wanna thank Harry for inspiring this song, after all thanks to him, I got one of these'', even as hot as she looked last night, its a wonder why she has doesn't keep a boyfriend.
Timberlake and Macklemore lead the nominations with six apiece. Their place atop the heap is fitting when you take into account they've got the year's best-selling album with "The 20/20 Experience" and single "Thrift Shop", respectively. Followed up by Bruno Mars is a close third with four noms, ahead of Pink, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and Thirty Seconds To Mars, who each picked up three nods.
Meanwhile ‘The President Of Pop’ Justin Timberlake took over the stage reuniting with ‘NSYNC. JT's Late Night pal, Jimmy Fallon presented Justin Timberlake with the Video Vanguard Award, making JT the 28th recipient of the prestigious award. Justin performed a guick medley of his hits, then he made his entrance while singing his new track “Take Back The Night.” Once on stage, The President of Pop dove into a medley of his hits including “SexyBack,” “Like I Love You,” “My Love,” and “Cry Me A River,” JT followed by a not-so-surprising performance with ‘NSYNC!
That moment reunited former 'NSync bandmates Joey Fatone, J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick for a one-off reunion.Transporting their tween fan's back to the year 2000. That's when the men of ‘NSYNC took to the stage to perform a mix of their smash-hits like “Girlfriend” and “Bye Bye Bye.” Although the performance was short, they still showed
off their choreographed dance moves that have been missed so much!
Except to that little spoiler Kevin Hart who obviously wanted to say “Bye Bye Bye” to ‘NSYNC's group. Because only a second after they were off stage he made fun of them mere minutes after their show-stopping performance! The comedian panned their dance moves and said the guys, except for Justin, looked out of shape. Hart even goofed that Joey had farted on stage during his dancing, now that's pretty low!
Fortunately for the rest of us a good time was had by all at The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. See it replayed om MTV...and VH1 this week.
