The Beach Tuff’Lazee Move at the January 2013 Orlando Surf Expo (Photos)

Melbourne Florida, January 27, 2013 – As my visit to the 2013 Surf Expo was winding down, I came across the Beach Tuff booth where the Beach Tuff Lazee Move was being roll out. I met the entire booth crew along with Julie Weldon, Beach Tuff founder and John Saladino, Beach Tuff COO. The Beach Tuff Lazee Move design was born on the sands of Bethany Beach, Delaware by Julie and her parents where Julie spent countless days with her family enjoying the beach life.

The Lazee Move is a two part system composed of a removable beach chair and wheeled storage / ice chest. The Lazee Move features easy-carry wheels so users can navigate from sidewalk to sand with all the day’s essentials in tow. And when beach goers are ready to relax, it transforms from a carrying cart to a comfortable beach chair with plenty of thoughtful extras like a side table, cup holders, pillow, and pressurized water bottle feature.

As I spoke with Julie and John, I quizzed them on the chair’s construction having owned many beach chairs that rusted out and gave way after a few years in the Florida sunshine. I was assured that all the fittings were stainless steel and that the aluminum tubing was extra thick to combat the rigorous use of hauling loads of beach gear to and from your vehicle. I even asked about damage from the sun’s UV rays that is devastating to plastic. John told me that the Lazee Move had been subjected to long hours of environmental testing stressing the Lazee Move to extreme limits. I was happy to know, at the end of my questioning, that this was not your Moma’s typical beach chair made in China and sold at Walmart The Lazee Move was truly an exceptional product.

So if you are looking for a new beach transportation system, keep your eye out for the Lazee Move coming to a store near you. You can visit the Beach Tuff web site for more information.

Until next time, be safe in the sun and have a great day on the water.
