It is always a treat to see horror films that contain mass amounts of big stars who are fan favorites in the industry. The 1999 film The 4th Floor stars Juliette Lewis, William Hurt, Shelley Duvall, Tobin Bell, and Artie Lange. With a star-studded cast, The 4th Floor is one of those films that is much better than you think it will be.
When Jane inherits her aunt's rent-controlled apartment she couldn't be happier. Little does she realize that she is about to encounter the neighbor from hell. Maggots and rats being unleashed in her apartment are just the beginning of the terror that ensues. But when Jane intends to confront the old lady in the apartment on the fourth floor she discovers that not everything is what it seems and that there are for more sinister things at work.
The 4th Floor is an engaging film that provides horror, an emotional rollercoaster, and even slight humor. With an incredible cast, amazing plot, excellent performances, and great special effects, this film certainly delivers all the thrills and chills viewers could possibly as for.
