Wawa brings quality and value to Tampa

If you ever thought eating at a gas station was not a good idea, think again!

Wawa has just opened with four locations in the Tampa Bay area.

Yes, they are a gas station and sort of like a really nice RacTrac; but in this case, the center of their retail interior is an amazing deli counter with fresh food made to order and at exceptional prices.

For starters, "Wawa" is a Native American word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley, that's why we use the goose on their corporate logo.

Now that that is out of the way, onward to the great values.

Wawa offers a large fresh food selection, including Wawa brands like Built-to-Order® Hoagies which come in four sizes: the Junior (4-inch), Shorti (6-inch), Classic (10-inch), and Two-Footer.

With the Shorti for just at $4.59 and 10 inch classics at just $5.49, this may be the best hoagie you have ever had for the price. Pair it with their current special of any size fountain drink for just 59-cents and you have the best deal in Tampa for the money.

And the value and quality doesn’t stop there, the Sizzli® hot breakfast sandwich, quality dairy products and Wawa brand juices and teas are a great value also. Plus, they feature a wide selection of ready-to-go salads, fresh fruits and other healthy options.

They have hot soups, sides, nacks and specialty items that are ALL made fresh on the premises and reasonably priced.

I thought it may be crazy to think that a gas station could be such a balance of quality and value, but boy was I wrong.

Their fresh baked bread rivals Publix and their subs beat Subway by far for quality, quantity and price.

I guarantee you will absolutely enjoy Wawa for their amazing quality and great value.

Their Bay Area locations are below or see this map:

401 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL

510115 Bloomingdale Ave, Riverview,

702 W Waters Ave, Tampa, Florida ‎
