Like a lot of other people (that have queried them during interviews), initially it seemed random that Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese decided to form a group. However, after listening to two hilarious interviews (Interview 1 and Interview 2) on Hot 97 and an interview on Sway in the Morning with Sirius Radio, it turns out they've been good friends for years. Initially I listened to "Three Kings" the first time and wasn't into it. But that didn't make sense considering I like and own at least one or more of their individual projects.
But the online listening party was worth giving it another shot.
"Sex Never Felt Better"
"Lessons in Love"
"Take It Wrong"
"Weekend Love" (If it takes a calendar date for it to be better, you're not doing it right.)
"OMG" (Trey Songz's "LOL Smiley face" and the "OMG" concept comes to mind, but this is a much sexier version of it.)
"Tearing It Down"
No desire to hear these again:
"No Fun": Why listen to a song basically telling women to have sex with the whole crew?
"Next Time Around": What is the purpose in singing about how he'll be a better man for the next relationship? That does nothing to benefit the current relationship.
"Interlude": The Spanish intro is terribly overused and is about as corny as fake orgasm noises.
"I Need": The song is a bit too whiny, but Ginuwine's aggressive part at the end is cool. Another problem is the video. Tank is in a cabin on fire and he's drinking like he doesn't realize it. Ginuwine is singing a song with his back to the girl he's singing it to and on a motorcycle for no reason. And the way he got off of it was awkward. However, Tyrese's part made sense.
