This upscale restaurant is the perfect environment for that very special someone. Texture's immaculate decor and modern design is the perfect place to celebrate that special event or even pop the question.
The staff was well-informed, more than usual about the restaurants food selection. They were able to answer any question we posed and were always attentive and quick to serve.
The service was quick but they gave us ample time to converse between courses. And good thing, because all we could talk about was how much we were enjoying the restaurant.
The course began with a New Season English Beetroot with goat cheese and pistachios. I am not a big beet fan but this was mouth-watering, the goat cheese complimented the root so well.
Our first course was a cold smoked Scottish Salmon with horseradish, apple, pickled vegetables and sorrel. It was prepared medium-rare which has to be handled delicately and the chef did exactly that, the pickled vegetables and sorrels were the perfect compliment for the course.
It was followed by chargrilled U.S. Grain-Fed Prime Beef, horseradish, olive oil bearnaise. My partner had this course and said it was the best piece of meat he had had in a long time. I couldn’t help myself and stole a bite and it was seasoned to perfection.
Just when we thought we couldn’t fit anymore, we were given a pre-dessert to cleanse our palate and then our main dessert which was a Valrhona white chocolate mousse, ice-cream, dill cucumber. Absolutely delicious. I am normally not a fan of white chocolate but Texture's blend was absolutely mouth-watering and well-recommended.
Overall, our dining experience was phenomenal and I highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars all the way.
